EdgeDisco launched as an open-source scanner that discovers AI applications, running agents, local model runtimes, agent frameworks, and MCP servers across endpoints without collecting conversation content. The tool maps metadata, protocols, ports, and runtime fingerprints, and its live discovery examples include an orchestrator-agent on edge-node-04 at port 4833, an on-device inference node on edge-node-11 at port 8080, and a Model Context Protocol server on edge-node-02 at port 9000. EdgeDisco states that prompt and response content is excluded and remains on the endpoints.
