AEREDIUM secures US patent for AI-powered digital asset reserve audits

Blockchain infrastructure developer AEREDIUM Holdings has received a US patent for a multi-model artificial intelligence architecture that autonomously audits reserves backing stablecoins and other reserve-backed digital assets, the company said Thursday. The patented system, invented by founder and CEO Albert Dadon, uses four independent AI models covering fraud detection, anomaly identification, reserve forecasting and regulatory compliance to replace periodic reserve attestations with near real-time verification. AEREDIUM said the patent, granted by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, is the seventh in its US portfolio and supports its institutional settlement infrastructure.

The patent, invented by founder and CEO Albert Dadon, replaces periodic reserve attestations with a real-time, multi-model verification system.

Blockchain infrastructure developer AEREDIUM Holdings has received a US patent for a multi-model artificial intelligence architecture that autonomously audits reserves backing stablecoins and other reserve-backed digital assets, the company said Thursday.

The patented system aims to address the gap between periodic reserve attestations and real-time reserve conditions by continuously monitoring backing assets.

“Trust in this industry has always been retrospective — you found out whether the reserves were there after it mattered,” Albert Dadon, the founder and CEO of AEREDIUM, said in a statement. “This patent makes trust a live property of the asset itself. The verification travels with the token.”

The technology uses four independent AI models covering fraud detection, anomaly identification, reserve forecasting and regulatory compliance to replace traditional monthly or quarterly reserve attestations with automated, near real-time auditing, the team noted.

Under the patented framework, at least three models must reach the same conclusion before issuing a reserve assessment, while the compliance engine has authority to block transactions by instructing smart contracts to reject pending token transfers if reserve conditions deteriorate.

The system also records each audit cycle on blockchain networks to provide an immutable public record of reserve health.

AEREDIUM said the patent, granted by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, is the seventh in its US portfolio and supports its institutional settlement infrastructure.

AEREDIUM Holdings develops blockchain infrastructure for institutional use cases, including stablecoins, tokenized real-world assets, and cross-chain settlement.

The company secured a $5 million investment from Private Markets Capital in April to advance development of its layer 1 blockchain.
