Adobe for Slack offers teams more than 70 professional creative and productivity tools directly within their familiar workspace. Users can now create and edit images, videos, and documents directly in Slack, supported by AI via Slackbot.
Slack users can now leverage Adobe’s creative suite without leaving the platform. The new Adobe app for Slack is available for Business+ and Enterprise+ plans and integrates tools such as Firefly, Photoshop, Premiere, Acrobat, and Illustrator. Through Slackbot users can describe their requirements, after which the appropriate Adobe tools are deployed to quickly generate or edit content.
Creative workflows directly in Slack #
With Adobe for Slack, teams can create PDFs based on existing files and information. Slackbot can summarize information from conversations or Canvases and pass this input to the Adobe app, which then generates images, videos, or documents that can be shared immediately within the team.
The integration makes it possible to quickly search Creative Cloud assets based on subject, style, or mood. This allows previously used content and approved campaign images to be reused or adapted for various channels, such as social media.
Additionally, the app provides access to thousands of design templates that can be customized and animated. Bulk editing of images, such as removing backgrounds or adjusting lighting, is also now performed directly in Slack.
The integration of creative apps into AI platforms is not new. Earlier this year, Anthropic integrated Figma and Canva in Claude, and Adobe itself brought its Express, Acrobat and Photoshop naar ChatGPT last year.
Adobe for Slack is currently only available to users with a Business+ and Enterprise+ subscription.
