I’ve been exploring local AI models lately, and one question keeps coming up:
"Which model can actually run on my machine?"
With so many options available, it's easy to spend time down a model only to find out your laptop struggles to run it.
That's why I found LLMFit interesting. It checks your system specs (CPU, RAM, and GPU) and suggests LLMs that are a good fit for your hardware. The project is designed to help developers quickly find models that can run efficiently on their machines.
If you're learning AI, experimenting with Ollama, or building side projects with local LLMs, it might save you some trial and error.
